These are two child-friendly apartments in a lovely traditional Swedish Manor House Annex in the rural village of Uddeholm, next to a riding stables with a river close by. The apartment house is set in a large private garden surrounded by meadows with horses, about one kilometre from Uddeholm village.

If you just want to unwind you can have a barbecue or relax in the sun and enjoy the views. Back home there's satellite t.v. and wireless internet for your laptop so you can keep in touch with the outside world when you want to. By bike you can explore the delightful back route to town for a cup of coffee at the riverside café.

All around are pine forests, meadows and hills for walking and rivers and lakes for swimming, fishing or boating. The local town for shopping (Hagfors) is 5 kilometres away and Karlstad City is an hour's drive away. There you will find everything you would expect from a thriving urban centre.

Local attractions include an 18-hole golf course, a scenic bike route alongside the Klaralven River, a wildife park, two restaurants within walking distance and the all-year-round Ski Tunnel at Torsby, close to where Sven Goran Ericsson has his Swedish home. Click on the tabs to find out more.
